Holiday Happenings at The Market Common
With the holidays approaching theres plenty to do around the area if youre looking for local activities. The holiday happenings at The Market Common in Myrtle Beach that take place from now through Christmas are especially worth mentioning. Definitely be sure to go visit the area and take advantage of the following events. Many seasonal craft vendors, live greenery and super fresh food will make up this year's festive Holiday Bazaar on Howard Avenue. The bazaar is held from noon to 4 p.m. every Saturday through Nov. 19. You can enjoy live Music in the Streets with these extra special sounds of the season every Saturday from 2-5 p.m. through Dec. 19. The following musicians will be performing in the gazebos on Howard and Reed Avenues at the Market Common:November 14: Super Reggae Man and Justin Jordan DuoNovember 21: Prettier Than Matt and Shaun BrownNovember 28: Tim Peterman and Charles FreemanDecember 5: Shaun Brown and Tim PetermanDecember 12: Sweet Sweet and Prettier Than MattDecember 19: Matt Parker and the Deacons and Alex Austin The Market Common will host their annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on Saturday November 21 from 6-8 p.m. in front of the Grand 14 Cinema. Mike the Magician will amaze everyone with his slight of hand. Santa will surprise everyone with his magical arrival! Come enjoy the street entertainment, balloon art, and your favorite mascots. Stick around after the show for a special meet and greet opportunity with Santa himself! Complimentary Carriage Rides can be had from 3-6 p.m. on Nov. 15, 21, 29 and Dec. 6, 13, 20, 21, 22, and 23 with pick up and drop off in front of Dolce Lusso Salon. If youve never taken a horse drawn carriage ride its something to be experienced! Taking one at this time of the year with the Common decorated for the holidays makes it extra special indeed!
